Dial Telecom extends its Prague fibre-optic network

Dial Telecom, a Czech telecommunications provider, has completed the reconstruction of its Prague fibre-optic infrastructure, which should improve coverage and the technology of its metropolitan network. Under the project, which took several months to complete, the company´s THP data centre and CE Colo data centre were linked to the Bohdalec connection node. The company further plans to extend its new optical network another 4km to cover the entire Vinohrady area in the centre of Prague to Krc on the outskirts of the capital.

Dial Telecom plans to offer free connections to the improved fibre-optic network to its current subscribers in the Krc area.
