ACTIVE 24 cuts down on domain name prices

ACTIVE 24, a leading Czech domain registrar and provider of webhosting services, has cut down on the purchase price for the most popular Czech domain suffixes, .CZ, .EU, .JE, .DJ and .SE. In 2011 alone, the company registered over 30,000 new .CZ domain names. Subscribers will now pay CZK 179 (€7) per domain name, which includes e-mail and web redirecting using the company´s WebForward and MailForward services. Prices for other popular domain suffixes, such as .EU, have also gone down, some reaching as low as CZK 99 (€4).
The .CZ domain accounts for over 60% of all Czech web domains followed by .COM, .EU, .ORG.
