MTS Ukraine to develop VPN solution with Nokia Siemens Networks


2010-01-18

The Ukrainian mobile operator MTS has signed a contract with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) to develop a convergent VPN solution for corporate networks. The first of its kind in Ukraine, it will use various technologies including Wi-Fi, 3G and VoIP. NSN will develop a VPN corporate fixed solution for MTS using a Private Branch Exchange support system. The first trial call using the VPN MTS network is planned by the end of Q1 2010.
