Consortium of companies will build data centers for Polish army

Ministerial Centre for Management of Networks and ICT Services (RCZSiUT) (a subordinate to the Ministry of National Defence, which provides telecom services for military institutions in Poland), will implement the project "Construction and implementation of data centers, processing centers and data archiving - Construction of the Central Backup System”. A consortium of companies including Enigma Systemy Ochrony Informacji (providing services in the field of information security), Comp (specializing in IT security and network security), COIG (a subsidiary of Wasko, providing dedicated IT solutions) and S&T Services Polska (providing consulting, IT systems implementation and outsourcing services) won a tender with an offer reaching nearly PLN 40 million (€9m). COIG, which estimated share in the project is 33%, will be responsible for the adaptation of the rooms, the delivery of hardware and software for the construction of the Central Backup System, the implementation (installation, configuration and integration) of the equipment and the provision of training.

The project is expected to be completed before 30 October 2017.
