The export value of Polish ICT services rose from PLN 13.4bn (€3.11bn) in 2015 to PLN 16.6bn (€3.85bn) in 2016, reported Central Statistical Office of Poland (GUS). The export of Polish ICT services increased mainly in the US, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands and Ireland. In the US the value of Polish ICT services grew by 35% last year. In the UK the export of ICT services jumped by 24.5%, and in Germany by 22.3%. British Forbes speculates that Poland can become European technological leader owing to the start-ups. One quarter of all Polish start-ups want to expand to the US, according to the Startup Poland Report 2016.
