Russia: TV ad market 10% up in Q1 2017

The TV ad market in Russia grew by 10% in Q1 2017, compared to Q1 2016, reports The National Advertising Agency (NRA) which controls 95% of TV advertising in Russia, in October 2016 announced, that the cost of TV ads will grow by 15% in 2017, whereas the combined revenues of all channels will increase by 10%. The Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (AKAR) shows, that the country’s TV ads market grew by 10% to RUB 151bn (€2.49bn) in 2016.
